The first Annual Grenee Dobbs Foundation Scholarship Scramble
The 1st Annual Grenee Dobbs Foundation Scholarship Scramble Golf Tournament took place at Horseshoe Bend Country Club in Roswell, GA on Monday, March 20th, 2023. 100% of the event’s proceeds were donated to local non-profits, including The Grenee Dobbs Foundation, as they continued to grant scholarships to underserved youth.

8:15am – 9:35am – Registration/Silent Auction Begin (Driving Range is Open)

9:45am – Opening Remarks.
9:50am – Lead Carts Out

Hole in One Challenge
Prize: A new car!
- Hole 7
Closest to the pin
Golfers will take a tee shot at the green. Shots that land on the green will be measured and marked throughout the competiton and whoever has the closest ball to the hole at the end of the day wins
Prize: Trophy

Long Drive Hole (Women, Senior & Men)
The golfer with the furthest shot off of the tee wins. Shots must finish on the fairway to qualify. Women will play from the Red Tees, Senior men will play from Green Tees and Men will play from the Blue Tees.

Closest to the Pin Charity Challenge
Custom golf balls bearing the logos of The Grenee Dobbs Foundation, Family Promise North Fulton/Dekalb, Fore Hadley Foundation and North Fulton Community Charities will be available for each participant at the tee box. Each golfer will choose the (ball) charity that they will be competing for and make a pledge to donate a specific dollar amount before teeing off. The player with the closest ball to the hole wins and is not required to donate, but still can, if they choose. The other 3 golfers will have to donate the amount they pledged to the charity that the winner chose. Golfers asked to leave custom balls in a bucket near the green so others can compete as well (Cash Pot, Venmo, Paypal and Card Reader available)
